College Hotties – Bowl Game Edition

The College Football season is coming to a close which is always a happy/sad time for me.  I love the heart of the season when the best of the conferences square off in October and November.  The sad part is when it comes to an end.  We get more than 30 bowl games (not sure if that is a good thing) to conclude the season but it always leaves us somewhat disappointed.  Do the best teams always play for the title?  Why can’t we have a playoff?  Why can’t we have a playoff and keep our holiday bowl games?  None of these questions will be answered any time soon.  All we can do as college football fans is sit back, watch the games AND say a fond farewell to our college hotties.

INDEPENDENCE BOWL

Georgia Tech has some unbeatable hotties but I think the Air Force Hottie Squad is going to have a lot to cheer about in this game.

MUSIC CITY BOWL

How either of these teams made a bowl game is a miracle.  At least we get to see these southern hotties one more time.  UNC should beat Tennessee but who knows.  Blah Hum Bug!

SUN BOWL

Catholics v. Convicts re-visited!  The midwest “girls next door” v. the South Beach hottie squad.  I give an edge to Miami’s girls but not the guys on the gridiron.  ND should take care of business on the field.

MEINEKE BOWL

One of the dumbest names for a bowl game, right?  Clemson and USF have some of the hottest fans and cheerleaders in college ball.  I wish the action on the field was as hot as what’s in the stands.  Both teams were disappointments for sure.  Clemson wins.

CHICK-FIL-A BOWL

The old Peach Bowl now named after the frickin delicious chicken sandwich should be a good.  FSU Cowgirls v. the girls who like Cocks.  You really can’t go wrong here.  I call this matchup a draw and the action on the field should be close too.  FSU by a field goal.

ROSE BOWL

The hottest girls of the Big 10 face off against the hottest of the Mountain West.  Both are amazing but I have to give a slight edge to the girls down south.  The ‘Sconnies’ are bundled up most of the year and that’s just not nice.  The Wisconsin men should get revenge on the field with a pretty solid victory over TCU.

FIESTA BOWL

These UConn hotties are the best I’ve ever seen.  Oklahoma is FULL of hot hotties and gets my vote in this matchup.  Oh, and the football team should kick the snot out of the Huskies.

SUGAR BOWL

Once again we have a top 10 matchup of hotties.  I love the OSU girls and the fact they party like they major in it.  However I am a sucker for SEC girls and the RazorHotties get my vote.  The game should be one of the best of the major bowl games.  OSU by a point or two.

ORANGE BOWL

Stanford girls certainly win the IQ award and these cheerleaders are certainly cute, but VTs hotties are awesome.  The action on the field should be awesome.  This is going to be an excellent game.  Stanford is probably just a bit better than the Hokies.

BCS BOWL

Auburn v. Oregon.  Auburn’s fans are smoking hot and Oregon’s cheerleaders are the best.  The game should be good and high scoring but I think Auburn should be able to handle the Ducks.

Return of Hot College Cuties

I must say Kansas has many hotties.  I had no idea.  The bonus was the weather, 75 degrees in November so they didn’t wear much to the game.  Very nice.  🙂

I do have to give them props on their football knowledge as well.  All of the students were into the game.  It was a great time and I encourage all college football freaks like myself to make a trip to Lawrence, especially against a Big 12 foe.  Enjoy this next round of college hotties.

Auburn might be having a down year but some things are looking up.

alabamadanceteam

The other team in Alabama, the Alabama Crimson Tide are having a hell of season.  The dance team doesn’t look half bad either.

After the Gators wiped the field with the GA Bulldogs how could I not spread some Gator love.  I just wish some of them were around my office right now to spread some love.  Meeeeeeow!

Sterger and a good friend.

OK, that has to be my favorite game day look.  The short shorts with the cropped up jersey.  Very hot and it looks great on these Hokies.

ohiostategirls22

Did I mention I can’t get enough of college girls in tight college jerseys?  I bet some Buckeye got lucky that night.

tenn-girls

So long Coach Fulmer.  Don’t let the door hit your amazingly huge ass on the way out!

uscfront2

I have no idea who this USC hotty is but WOW!  That is about all I can say.  If you happen to be around the 10-yard line make sure you have a Trojan ready to go.  You’re right, that was bad but I couldn’t resist.

Have a great week!

College Hotties Volume 3

As long as you guys are diggin them I will keep throwing them up there.  I must say I have seen many hotties this football season.  The only down for us football freaks in the midwest is the weather tends to get chilly now and the college cuties start bundling up.  Fortunately for us the girls of the SEC, ACC and PAC 10 don’t have to deal with the crazy, crappy weather and show us their stuff all football season long.

ENJOY!

Rumor has it these ladies are on the TTech Swim team.  If this is true they are the hottest swim team EVER.  My guess is that they are a sorority or the dance team.  Whatever they are they certainly are hot!

The hotties actually have sponsors now.  These hot pieces of Sooner ass are brought to you by Miller Lite.  Now I want a beer too!

Sterger and Co. root on the Florida State Seminoles.

Do guys look at this and honestly think, “Hmmmm, that takes a lot of athleticism.  Let’s applaud her cheerleading abilities?”  What do we really say?  “Oh yeah!  Imagine how flexible she is in bed.”  I know, we are pigs but that is what’s going through our brains.

Check out the F-Me boots on that Trojan fan!  The belly ring adds a nice touch too.

The Texas Cheerleading Squad certainly doesn’t beat around the bush…do they?  Then again with that kind of advertising maybe they beat around the bush quite a bit.

NCAA Football Picks Week 3 (actually it might be 4 technically)

Well, did well again last week.  4-1 with a season total of 8-2.  This week looks pretty tough though so here we go.

GAME 1

Alabama v. Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR

This is the SEC opener for both teams.  Bobby Petrino would like to do nothing more than avenge last year’s loss to BAMA.  The most important battle of the day will be the one between the awesome Alabama run defense and Arkansas running back Michael Smith who is averaging over 7 yards per carry.  The winner of that battle should win the game.  Another key factor could be how Arkansas comes off that less than impressive showing against Louisiana-Lafayette.  Alabama 31 Arkansas 21

GAME 2

Florida v. Tennessee in Knoxville, TN

Normally you can throw the record books out when these two teams meet.  However this season most of the odds makers and “experts” like Florida to do some damage this weekend.  They may very well do that but I think there is something the “experts” might be overlooking.  Tennessee ranks higher than the Gators in rushing, passing and total yards.  Tennessee had poor play calling that cost them the game against UCLA and they ran and passed their way all over UAB last week.  I think two Florida keys are Percy Harvin and Tebow.  Tennessee doesn’t know what to do with a healthy Harvin.  I hope you like scoring because this game will have enough for all of us.  Florida 45 Tennessee 35.

GAME 3

Wake Forest v. Florida State in Tallahassee, FL

A clash of the ACC elite.  However Florida State has been a bit of the paper tiger these last few years.  They have had two solid wins over Western Carolina and Chattanooga but now they are facing a better class of opponent.  In the sports world it would be like a $12000 claimer moving in to $100,000 Grade III Stakes race.  What?  Exactly!  In most cases that horse never wins.  In this case Florida State is at home but that is about the only thing they have going for them.  Wake Forest has beaten the Seminoles twice in a row and this week should be #3.  They are near the top of the NCAA in + – turnover ratio.  Wake is also coming off of a bye week, has won 10 of their last 13 and FSU is still missing players due to suspension.  No matter which way you look at it Deacons win.  Wake Forest 27 Florida State 17

GAME 4

Virginia Tech v. North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC

Butch Davis has the boys in blue competitive once again.  After coming off of an impressive win against Rutgers, the Tar Heels look for upset #2 against the Hokies.  Helping the Tar Heels in this task will be Heisman hopeful, WR Brandon Tate who has 8 catches totaling 231 yards as well as 125 yards on only 5 carries.  Believe me when I say if you stop Tate, you stop the Tar Heels and that is what Coach Beamer will do.  V-Tech had a disappointing game against ECU a couple of weeks back but if anything that just made them mad.  They are still a top team with a good defense, powerful running and a very good special teams.  Virginia Tech 20 North Carolina 16

GAME 5

LSU v. Auburn in Auburn, AL

Their are a couple of keys to this game that we can’t overlook.  First of all, in order for LSU to repeat they will need to beat SEC rival Auburn.  The next key is that the home team has won the last 8 meetings in the series.  The final key is LSU has to run to win and Auburn has one of the better run defenses in the country.  Now, while all of this seems to make Auburn the favorite the bottom line is Auburn is having a hard time airing out the ball.  They are also having a tough time sustaining drives and scoring points.  They weren’t all that impressive against Southern Miss and they were brutal against Mississippi State, a team they should have beat by 20 points.  If LSU gets up early Auburn is done but if it stays close into the 4th quarter I like Auburn.  So…..LSU 31 Auburn 14

BONUS PICKS – There are too many good games this week so I am going to take to BONUS GAMES as well.  I like Notre Dame to squeak by Michigan State this week up in East Lansing 21-16.  I also like Georgia to put a hurting on Arizona State 38-18.

A College Frenzy to Open the 2008 Football Season

Thanks to DishTV and the 250 channel package I was able to catch almost all of the football games this past weekend.  Let me tell you guys, all that football and beer and pizza was a dream come true.  The only thing missing was a half-naked waitress to serve me during the games.

Negative aside, the games were fun as hell and the upsets were excellent.  Not that I picked most of them or anything (hahaha).  I had a great opening week picking Fresno over Rutgers, East Carolina over Virginia Tech and Bowling Green over Pittsburgh.  I just missed on the Northern Illinois v. Minnesota game and finished my first week 10-2.

My other loss was Alabama over Clemson.  Now I must say I knew better.  I just knew the ACC and Clemson were going to fold like a house of cards but with all of my other upset games I have #9 Clemson the benefit of the doubt.  The RB duo of piss and shit, ooooops, I mean Thunder and Lightning were useless as tits on a bull.  However Alabama’s duo of Coffee and Ingram combined for nearly 200 yards on the ground.  If I were a Clemson fan I would be beside myself with anger that they lost this game.  Alabama isn’t a crappy team but they are only the 4th or 5th best SEC team.  They should have been able to win this game by 10 to 14 points.  If Clemson can’t right this ship and finish inside the Top 20 this season this might be Bowden’s swan song.

Pittsburgh baffles me as well.  Call it a gut instinct that I got this game right.  Or perhaps, being a Chicago Bears fan, I knew a Dave Wannstedt team always falls flat.

The most amazing part of this upset was Pittsburgh was heavily favored at home.  They were preseason ranked inside the Top 25 for the first time in 5 years.  They had 150 more yards than the Falcons.  And, the Pitt Panthers 14-0 in the 2nd quarter and 17-14 at halftime.  So, what happened?  Simply put, turnovers happened.  You can’t have a turnover ratio of -3 and expect to beat people.  Had they controlled the ball they win handily.  The clock is ticking on the Wanny era.

Some other little tid bits that I took away from this weekend were…

1- Juice Williams needs to be considered a Heisman candidate.  The Illini defense bent and broke and their was absolutely no running attack at all.  He threw for 450 yards against the #6 team in the country.  In my opinion he outshined Daniels in the opener.  If Illini RB Dufrene can get a bit more consistent and avg. 4.5 yards per carry the Illini will get back to a New Years Day game.

2- Mizzou’s Jeremy Maclin is this year’s Devin Hester.  The two returns (one punt and one kickoff) beat the Illini.  And, if Jeremy’s injury is the least bit severe and he misses time, Mizzou won’t get to a national championship game in2008-09.

3- Neuheisel is a master.  Well, him and Norm Chow.  I didn’ think UCLA had a shot against the Tennessee defense but they are offensive masters and they made it work with a young 3rd string QB.  Some will say Tennessee gave them the game and I understand that.  However, the job he has done with QB Kevin Craft and the Bruin offense gives the UCLA reason to cheer.

NCAA Football Pre-Season Predictions 20-16

#20 South Florida

The Bulls had a great first half last season and then a let down, ultimately getting slaughtered by Oregon in bowl play.  USF QB Matt Grothe is one of the most entertaining QBs in the country.  He also has a pretty good line and numerous weapons a WR.  Unfortunately the Bulls need to find a reliable running back to take some of the load off of Grothe.  Replacing NFL draftee Mike Jenkins at CB is also a problem.  All in all they will be competitive in a weak Big East.  Matchups against Kansas, Pittsburgh and Rutgers will prove to be their toughest but they are all at home.  9-3

#19 Kansas

The Jayhawks had an amazing run in 2007 and look to have an great season in 2008.  The defense was fantastic last season and has 9 starters returning.  Also returning is the little general, QB Todd Reesing.  Todd is an accurate passer and has weapons.  Unfortunately he lost his protection to the NFL so offensive line play will be a key to this team’s success.  Schedule is also tough with road games at South Florida and Oklahoma.  They also close out the season vs. Texas and Missouri.  9-3

#18 Michigan

Michigan is rebuilding.  They had a great finish to last season with a great victory over Florida but they lost key players at ever skill position to the NFL.  They are only returning 3 starters from an offense that is changing philosophy as well.  I think a key player for the Wolverines will be RB Brandon Minor.  He will provide some stability to a young offense.  The defensive line will also help them remain competitive.  The schedule works in their favor as they play Utah, Wisconsin and Illinois at home.  Of course the road games (Notre Dame, Penn State and Ohio State) could be very difficult games for Rodriguez’s young troops.  8-4

#17 BYU

Every year the “experts” say BYU is a BCS team they crap out along the way.  You can almost bet money on it.  Once again this season they are wrong about the Cougars being a National Title contender but the Cougs will have a very good team.  They have the best offense in the Mountain West and a good QB in Max Hall.  Look for the Hall to Collie TD combo quite a bit this season.  The defense lost quite a few of it’s stars from last season and won’t be quite as good.  The schedule is pretty light with Washington on the road and UCLA at home.  The toughest game and battle for the conference title will be the final game of the season, on the road against Utah.  10-2

#16 Tennessee

Tennessee, like Michigan is rebuilding so you just don’t know how good or bad they are going to be.  The one thing that Tennessee has working against them is the conference.  There are 3 or 4 other teams vying for National Title consideration so where does that leave Tennessee.  On the upside they have a great offensive line and a solid RB in Arian Foster.  The defense struggled a bit last year and lost Mayo to the NFL so that won’t help matters in 2008.  However they have a boatload of young talent on D like linebackers Wilson and McCoy and the D should improve as the season progresses.  Their schedule is very difficult early with a road game at UCLA, host Florida and then play at Auburn.  If they can get through that in decent shape it gets a little better with games against Mississippi St., Wyoming, Vanderbilt and Kentucky.  8-4
